David Camp co-founded Orbus in 1996, serving as president and chief executive officer. He was instrumental in developing and commercializing various technologies. Prior to joining the Company, he worked as product development marketing manager for peripheral stents with Cordis in Miami Lakes, Florida from 1994 to 1996. Prior to re-joining Cordis in l994, he worked with Spectranetics Corporation first as product manager in Colorado Springs, Colorado and then from 1992 as international sales and marketing manager in The Netherlands. Prior to joining Spectranetics, he was employed as a products specialist in new business development and market research and as a product manager with Cordis from 1988 to 1990. Mr. Camp holds a BA in international marketing and business administration from the Hanze Hogeschool, Groningen, The Netherlands. He speaks English and Dutch fluently and is conversational in French, Spanish, and German. Mr. Camp holds one US patent and one published international patent.
